A monitoring system that collects data from sensors on the machine, this system uses an Omron NX series PLC as the OEE (Availability, Performance, Quality) calculation center, which is then saved in CSV format to an SD card. Data is automatically sent to a central server via FTP protocol to be visualized in the OEE Dashboard, enabling real-time data-driven decision making.
OEE Algorithm: Designing programming logic in Sysmac Studio (Omron NX PLC) to automatically calculate Availability, Performance, and Quality values based on production machine input sensors.
Data Logging: Implemented the Data Logging feature to save production history and machine history into CSV files on the SD card installed in the PLC.
Network Integration: Configure the FTP client function on the Omron NX PLC to automatically send CSV files of production results to the server via the local network (Ethernet).
HMI Design: Create an interface design on the HMI Innovation IT7000 as an operational display and to directly monitor OEE values in the production area.
Data Visualization: Ensure that data from PLC (CSV file) is received correctly by the server so that it can be displayed in the OEE Dashboard for analysis by the management/production team.
